The espresso cup uses the same stepped profile as the larger coffee cup, reduced to a 100ml volume. The ledge gives the fingers a natural resting point and allows multiple cups to sit securely together.

Arita has produced porcelain since the early seventeenth century. Slowform works with a local workshop whose knowledge of porcelain stone, casting and firing informed the cup’s material and surface. Each cup is made in Arita from a custom clay blend containing iron and sand.
